It's hard to say why the death of Ryan Dunn hurts so much. But it does.
I feel like I lost a best friend that I never met in person.
Most of the footage we all saw of Ryan was "real" home made video. He wasn't an actor. He was a real guy. And over a ten year span, you really witness a person "grow up" and develop right before your eyes.
I am about to watch CKY2K as a tribute to Ryan.
I am in no way justifying how or why he died. I will never drink and drive.
But from what I saw through the magic and wonder of home video, Ryan Dunn loved his friends, he loved to laugh, and he loved life. And it is truly a shame he will not be able to have any of these things any more.
I'll miss you my friend.
