Please don't use the argument that I am not a parent and I don't "understand", and I dont know what I am talking about. If you feel like you are going to say that, then just close out of the window now.
I'm not saying I believe Casey Anthony is innocent(of murder). And honestly, I'm not saying I believe she is guilty either. And that was the basis of this whole trial. To present evidence, and arguments , to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this woman killed her daughter.
Going over computer searches. CSI and DNA investigations of a trunk and skull of the baby. Bringing the person to the stand who allegedly discovered the remains of the baby.
All of these things could not prove that Case Anthony murdered Caylee, or even proved how it happened.
She was found guilty of lying and misleading an investigation, and yes, they can prove she did that.
People are absolutely outraged by this verdict, and I can understand why.
You can have your opinion of Casey, thats understood.
But don't hate Jose Baez or his defense team. They did their job perfectly as shown by the verdict.
Don't hate the jury. They did absolutely the right thing. It's not their fault it wasn't proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that Casey did it. Is it possible that someone else could have done it? Judging by everything that we saw during the trial...
Yes. It is possible, because there isn't anything concrete to prove otherwise.
This is where you can place blame.
On the State. The Prosecution.
Why didn't they get Casey Anthony on the stand?
Why couldn't they build a good enough case with substantial evidence to prove it was her?
If there is anyone to blame, in my opinion, it's the prosecution.
Obviously, all of the Anthony's will probably be relocating and changing their names and identities within the next 5 years. So all this talk of Casey walking the street, and will someday "get hers", is just hatred put in to words from people who are frustrated that they dont understand our judicial system.
Once again. Im not a Casey Anthony supporter by any means. I just feel like the right decision was made given by the evidence and the whole circus that was the trial to begin with.
There are far worse crimes going on in America every day. The number one suspect in a child murder trial just happens to be a slut, and a seemingly terrible, and un-fit mother. It's all captured by photos and social media websites, and this is the story that captivates us all.
And that is the state of the world we live in.
Kiss your mommas.

Ooh I have so much to say about this case! But best if I dont lol! Being a Floridian wannabe, I often watch Fox news (we can get Fox and CNN on tv here) just out of interest, to see whats going on in my favorite place! I saw the Caylee Anthony case when the news first broke she was missing. Over the time since then I have found it unbelievable a child could be missing without being reported as such. Before the trial I held alot of the blame on the grandparents too as it was portrayed she lived with them and Casey. Watching the trial, seeing the facts, I still believe Casey murdered her daughter. My anger towards the grandparents subsided as things were made clearer. As the trial started I wanted Casey to face the death penalty, as time went on I didnt want George and Cindy to lose anyone else - they had been through so much. As a parent myself, I kept looking at Diz over the past month or so, knowing that she was the same age as Caylee, and wondering how the hell someone could do that to a child. Yes there are alot of evil/sick/twisted people out there but when you see the news and the trial unfold before you, it draws you in. You hope for the typical fictional ending, the bad person is made to suffer for the crime etc, but we didnt get it here. People feel cheated. Watching Casey, you never saw and 'real' sadness in her emotion. You could see when she was urging herself to cry, the angry looks she had when her parents or brother were on the stand, but nothing to show how much she missed her baby. Again that made people mad! An innocent baby was killed and left in trash bags, and the one who brought her into this world doesnt even show how much she misses her!
ReplyDeleteAnd now I'll stop...for someone who had nothing to say I said alot lol!!! There wasnt the 'smoking gun' in Caseys hand, but as far as Im concerned there was enough circumstantial evidence to put her away. I think its a shame she will walk before a week is up.
Well said Kymie!
